About Us
At myPhysio we offer two broad specialties; Orthopaedic, Sports Physiotherapy and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. We also encourage active participation in achieving health and performance goals through specially designed fitness programs.
Our physiotherapy team is accredited and registered physiotherapists with the Delhi Council of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists (DCPTOT).
Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy
Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy that involves assessment of injuries and pain affecting the bones, joints, muscles and nerves. Sports physiotherapy applies that expertise to athletes, with biomechanical analysis of the movements involved in their sport. Rehabilitative exercise is designed to aid recovery from injury and prevention, of future injury. Physiotherapists can also analyse movements and activities to design exercise programs that will optimise sporting or athletic performance and improve general fitness.

Pelvic Health and Continence Physiotherapy
Pelvic health is a field of physiotherapy that deals with problems that arise related to dysfunction of the pelvic floor muscles. Common examples are bladder and bowel control problems, such as needing to go to the toilet too often or accidentally leaking urine from the bladder or gas or faces for the bowel. These problems of accidental leakage are called ‘incontinence’. Physiotherapists can assess and treat these issues, helping to restore continence. Pelvic floor dysfunction can also contribute to difficulty emptying the bowel, commonly referred to as ‘constipation’ or ‘obstructed defecation’. Pelvic floor dysfunction can also contribute to pain in the pelvis and is commonly involved in conditions such as ‘bladder pain syndrome’, ‘chronic pelvic pain syndrome’, and pudendal neuralgia, amongst others. These problems can affect both men and women. In women, pelvic floor dysfunction can also contribute to a condition called ‘pelvic organ prolapse’. Our team comprises the most comprehensively qualified and experienced physiotherapists in this field in Delhi, who between them can provide expert assessment and treatment of all of these issues.
